Ramon was and still is a passionate tennis player and started playing tennis at the age of 8. During his youth Ramon, fought his way up in the Tio 100 German ranking and played in the men’s 2nd Bundesliga for TTC Bielefeld alongside players such as Magnus Gustafsson, Christian Bergström, Francisco Maciel, Peter Elter etc. and thus financed the first years of his German studies. From 1994 to 1996 Ramon was able to study in the USA at Rollins College (FL) with the help of a tennis scholarship and later he worked as an Assistant Coach at the University of Mobile (AL) alongside Coach Jim Moortgat, well known College Coach and for many years involved in the USTA Player Development Program. As No. 1 and 2 of the team at Rollins College, Ramon finished 3rd in the NAIA National Championships in Kansas City. He also achieved „All American“ status as a single player and was the No. 2 in the NAIA National League for a short period of time.
Meanwhile Ramon plays tennis in senior league in the Wiesbadener tennis club (WTHC). His teammates know Ramon not only for his playing abilities but for his susceptibility to injuries of shoulder, legs and back – unfortunately the playing in the USA obviously has left physical traces. Accordingly, Ramon goes „in and out“ to doctors, physiotherapists, osteopaths and athletics coaches to cure his injuries and maintain his physical strength. Accordingly, the Robin GmbH publishes websites in the health and medical sector under the lead of Ramon.
